The Last Song is first starring role by the Queen of Tween, Miley Cyrus other than being Hannah Montana. The Last Song is film adaptation of the novel written by the Nicholas Sparks, a best-selling author who wrote “A Walk To Remember” and “The Notebook” novels that turn out to becomes blockbuster movies.

On this movie, Miley plays the role of Veronica “Ronnie” Miller, seventeen-year-old classical piano genius who become rebellious after her life upside-down when her parents divorced. She also turn away from music she used to love and never spoken to her father since he left.

During one summer, their mother sent her and her brother to Tybee Island for vacation. It gives the chance for Ronnie to reconnect with father once again. Upon her arrival to the island, Ronnie is depressed, hostile and defensive toward all those around her, including Will Blakelee, a handsome and popular guy – until both of them become involved in protecting a Loggerhead Sea Turtle nest. As Ronnie falls in love with Will, she also manages to reconnect the bond with her father through the one thing they have in common- music.

The Last Song is directed by Julie Anne Robinson. Together with Miley Cyrus, starring in the movie are Miley real life boyfriend Liam Hemsworth as Will Blakelee, Bobby Coleman as Jonah Miller, Kelly Preston as Kim Miller, Greg Kinnear as Steve Miller, Nick Lashaway as Marcus, Carly Chaikin as Blaze, Adam Barnett as Teddy among others.
